Every Biblical Holyday I try to take time to watch something visually engaging to connect with Abba. Sometimes it's just an old movie that had a scene that touched me. Sometimes it's YouTube Teachings new or old...
At this time Last Year I was writing "The Ruth Connection". A story of two prime examples of Gentiles whose hearts were circumcised to see the truth of the Totality of Scripture, and what it really means to "serve God". These are more than just stories to encourage the faith of the Believers in Messiah Yeshua, they are examples that hold significance in every detail. If you have not read "The Ruth Connection", may I be so bold as to challenge you to do so? The powerful truths found in the two stories highlighted, but often overlooked throughout Christendom, are worth the 15-20 minutes of your time to ponder as you read it.
This year, I found myself totally engrossed in the Stage Production "Jesus". I am embedding it below for your viewing pleasure. But, be warned, while it is not 100% theologically spot on and while there is some Eusebian and Marcionite theology left within the script - IT IS POWERFUL and you will be moved. Naphtali and I laughed, cried, and everything in between. We believe you will be impacted too.
Have a wonderful Yom Kippur. Shabbat Shalom!!
